An Amazing Sore Throat Remedy.
Cure your Sore Throat Fast ! Using Salt, Yes just table salt Get relief within hours

This simple home remedy has worked 100% of the time for anyone that has tried it. Instead of suffering with a sore throat for a week or more, you can drive it away immediately, sometimes in less than a day. However, this remedy is not medical advice; it is a shared experience that really works! This site is not for profit; it's aim is simply to help people cure their sore throats.

The most common sore throat remedies for sore throat are usually over-the-counter sprays, lozenges and pastilles that are ineffective and smelly. The most common doctor-prescribed remedies are antibiotics, which take time to obtain, cost money and can have many negative side effects.

Most often, people waste time waiting while trying to figure out whether or not they really have a sore throat. By the time they realize they do have a sore throat, it's usually to the point that they are already suffering from serious sore throat pain, can barely speak, swallow or even eat.

This remedy is salt, and not just about gargling saltwater, it is actually about using common table salt as it is.

What you have to do is: tilt your head backwards and shake a little bit of salt straight into the back of your throat. Make sure you shake it straight into your throat, onto the base of your tongue and not over the middle sore throat remediesor the tip your tongue (this way you will not suffer from any unpleasant taste). After that, do not swallow your saliva, just let the salt dissolve right there on the back of your throat, letting the salt stay there for as long as you possibly can. If you're using a salt shaker, shake 2 to 6 times depending how bad your sore throat is. If you're using a fast food style paper saltshaker, you should shake about 1/4 of the packet directly into your throat.

Also highly suggested, is to shake an even larger amount of salt into your throat right before you go to sleep for the night. During your sleep, without food or drink, bacteria thrive without any interruption to incubation and growth. Therefore, using salt while you are asleep can be extremely effective. Keep a salt shaker near your bed. If you wake up in the middle of the night feeling sore, you can shake some more salt into your throat.

Salt is a very old remedy that kills bacteria. In the old days they traditionally used salt to salt packetspreserve meat and fish. Why? Because salt attracts water and attacks the bacteria cell walls, causing the bacteria to dehydrate and self-destruct in the process.

If your sore throat is really severe you can use salt as often as every 30 minutes. Use it as soon as you feel the first symptoms of a sore throat and the earlier you use it, the faster you’ll get rid of that sore throat.

Salt is available nearly everywhere. You can stop in to any fast food place on any street and grab some. Don’t wait around trying to figure out whether or not your sore throat is serious. Instead you can use this quick sore throat cure. As soon as you feel the first signs of a sore throat, use salt throat remedythe salt immediately. Gargling salt water is not nearly as effective since the concentration of salt is not high enough to take care of the problem. Also, gargling water requires a cup of water and the time to dissolve the salt in it, yet more inconvenience that makes you wait for relief.

Not all sore throats are the result of a bacteria infection. Sometimes the cause is a virus, commonly known as influenza virus. Many times your sore throat starts as a viral infection which develops into a bacterial infection. Salt is intended to fight only the bacteria, not the virus. Therefore salt might not be totally effective if you are suffering from a viral throat infection. Nevertheless, you really have nothing to lose by using salt. According to experience, salt can be extremely effective in most all cases, depending on the cause of your sore throat.

A sore throat is also often the first stage of a common cold, also known as the Flu. First to arrive is the sore throat, followed by nasal congestion and coughing. If you can take care of it fast, you won't wear down your immune system fighting the sore throat and your immune system has more energy to fight the other cold symptoms. Therefore, using salt could also shorten the total duration of suffering from the common cold.

Everybody suffers from a sore throat every year. If you find this advice to be useful - feel free to share it with your friends - and send them a link to this site.

At first I wasn't sure but was willing to try anything. I noticed that throughout the day it didn't seem to help much, I drank a lot, that may be why. However at bedtime I did this with a little extra like it said, and when I got up this morning, It was so much better. For the critics-of course a Dr will tell you not to do it. If we use home remadies for everything, there would be no need for doctors. As far as side effects go, well dont most meds have them? Some of them are severe. It is a risk we take.

My grandma used to stick a salty finger into each of my tonsils left & right and even though it tasted awfully and made me gag it worked within minutes. Have someone do this to you 2-3 times a day and it's going to be healed by the next day!

I had pain in my throat, I could not swollow without an enormous amount of pain, therefore not able to eat. I was using salt & water, but that seemed to eliminate the pain just for alittle while. I immediatly tried the salt alone, and felt I have conquered the world....Wow! what a releive.

Sore Throat Relief Not For The Faint Hearted.
My experience with sore throats during youth was sufficient to motivate me to discover a cure, which I did discover by accident. One evening after a road trip I came in looking forward to the evening meal because I had reserved a habenero pepper for it. I was tentative about preceding with my plan because all day I had struggled with a sore throat that worsened as the day progressed and by evening the sore throat was painful to the point of frustration. However, I decided to proceed with my original plan which seemed like insanity in light of my considerations that I was going to eat what is considered a lethal pepper, to some, and put this pepper acid on a throat that was already raw with discomfort. But I had made my decision and followed through, the result occurred 30-40 minutes later - the sore throat was gone. This morning at about 3:30 AM I experienced another sore throat which caused me to arise from my sleep I mixed 2 teaspoons of honey with 4 drops of a habenero pepper sauce called "100% Pain" mixed it with a spoon and took small amounts until the mixture was gone. I also drank a hot cup of green tea . My throat was relieved. I do enjoy peppers more since my sore throat relief discovery and experience hardly any sore throats. This mornings sore throat experience has convenced me that I need to increase my hot pepper intake. Hope this benefits and provides healing to a sore throat sufferer.

Backstory! I am 14 years old and I am very active in the Musical Theater industry. I do year-long theater workshops and a summer musical theater program for two weeks. I have had SO MUCH bad luck with my throat....for some reason, every single performance day, my throat gets really sore! I have just started my second summer musical theater class, in which we do some hardcore singing for 2 weeks. I have tried everything to try to keep my throat intact- I lipsynch during group songs and only give it my all during solos- but lo and behold, it is only the second day of workshop and my throat is destroyed. I have strep throat and it decided to hit hardcore right when I needed my voice the most. :(

I need help!!! I have tried this remedy only twice in like an hour, and I don't see any major difference. My throat isn't exactly sore, It just has a lot of junk going against the vocal chords and I sound like I have throat cancer, no joke...but the back of my throat hurts, too. It's incredibly embarrassing to sing in class, because I suck at singing right now...

I guess it's a good thing that it's not hitting right before my performances (I have them June 11th and 12th), so my strep might go away by then. I am taking my antibiotics religiously, along with Tylenol multi-symptom (the day and night pills with the coolburst flavor coating) and ibprofen (anti-inflammitory) and I drink a whole bunch of tea, gargle with salt water, and I am eating chicken soup right now, but nothing seems to work. My voice is low and icky sounding.

I really need someone's advice. I need to be cured as quickly as possible, and I hope that this remedy works alright, but does anyone have any more suggestions?? Please please PLEASE! I am so desperate at this point, I don't want to jeaprodize this performance, bacause people are actually flying in to see it! Can someone please give me some other ideas? I know, I know, it just needs to run its course, blah blah blah. I just need to know if there's anything that'll help me not sound horrible... please!

P.S. I have tried expectorants and they have not been awesomely successful.
